Latitude Law is a niche legal practice based in Manchester which specialises in immigration and nationality law.
What was their challenge?
Latitude Law had recently moved into new offices and were experiencing issues with their IT and telecoms. After trying to resolve the problems with their previous supplier, they contacted Gekko to ask for help.
As Latitude primarily uses cloud-based services it was critical that all users could securely access all their data whenever, however and from wherever they wanted. Harnessing the power of the cloud has enabled them to meet the levels of services demanded by their clients. Seamless connectivity and continuous uptime is essential to this growing business.
What was our challenge?
To deliver improved connectivity we installed a reliable high speed leased line to carry all data and voice traffic; this was underpinned with a business class service level agreement.
Improving reliability was our next challenge, so we took over the support of Latitude Law’s IT support and installed fault monitoring software on all machines. Lisa Kemp, Practice Manager commented that:
“Since Gekko took over our support function the systems always work, and that’s all we need them to do”
In a digitised world mobility is essential. By deploying Microsoft Office 365 all Latitude’s users can now access the corporate email system and access their files regardless of where they are working, whether in the office, at home or on the move.
Finally we delivered fixed telecom costs by deploying a hosted telephony system that includes all UK telephone calls for one fixed monthly fee per user. Latitude now knows there are never any nasty surprises regardless of how often they use the phone.
